River. Under heavy fog,
Howe's troops exposed Washington's regiment's right flank causing a route

It then served the First Continental Congress during the time of our declaration of independence from Great Britain. The Carpenters' Company decided to preserve this building as a historic landmark. An odd, almost overwhelming sense of presence is felt and inexplicable footsteps are often heard.

In 1827, a Benjamin Dickinson ran a hotel here. It then was sold to Joseph Becker, a German immigrant, who helped influence its change into a local post office in 1852. It then reverted back to a hotel, known as the J.R. Seifert Hotel and Post Office. In the beginning of the twentieth century, John Mountz ran the hotel, and then named the Beckersville Hotel. It changed hands and names several more times before becoming Emily's Pub. A former resident is seen in the wine cellar and the second floor banquet hall.

|
General Thomas Mifflin and a small army of rebels held Fort Mifflin and used its strategic location to their advantage. They delayed British supply ships, and ultimately saving Washington's troops from annihilation. The fort was restored in 1795 and manned during the War of 1812 but saw no action. During the Civil War it was used as a prison camp. A lady roams the ruins of the commander's barracks. She has the ill repute of screaming uncontrollably throughout the night. The two other spirits are Civil War soldiers that patrol the grounds, one of which is faceless.

Jim Webb, was found murdered in his office in 1996 and Felicia Moyse, a 20 year old assistant chef committed suicide in 1997. Founded in 1957, Cabrini College is a well-known Catholic school that sits on the main line. This building was an old manor. The daughter of the estate owner fell in love with a stable boy and while her father did not permit the two to marry, the stable boy hung himself in Grace Hall. In response to this tragedy, the daughter threw herself over the mansion's balcony. Around the time of the first snowfall, the daughter's spirit of is

The first owner of Hibernia was George Harrison, a weaver. He lived here as early as 1744 and sold his house/land to a Samuel Downing in the early 1790s. It then passed through many owners until it was requisitioned by the Chester County Parks and Recreation Department. A previous owner murdered a boy and girl in the mansion's cellar.
